1. No
2. In Live View mode, the Nikon D5100's LCD shows just over 100% coverage vertically, and slightly below 100% coverage horizontally.
3. No

You can check exposure after shooting and make any necessary changes to the settings. You could also set exposure bracketing to take several shots at different exposures and then choose the one you liked best. It shouldn't take you long to learn how to take correct exposures on your first try. The D5100 is a great dslr to learn on and yes, it has excellent low light performance. You might also consider the D7000 which also has it's advantages.

Hi everyone (sorry for my english, i speak spanish).

In my first post i want to ask about the d5100, which is the only model on nikon brand i'm considering as an option for a future purchase.

i'm looking for a first dslr (my dslr knowledge is limited, i have a Canon sx30 bridge camera).

i'm looking for a camera with good low light performance, no-fixed screen and with the posibility to add good lenses in the future (or other accesories).

1. Is it posible to see the changes i do in exposure in real time when shooting through the OVF??

2. Does the d5100 LV mode shows a 100% image coverage?? (OVF coverage is 95%).

3. Is it posible to see the changes i do in exposure in real time when shooting through the screen (LV mode)??

These are mainly my current doubts about this model.

anything you think it's important to know about this model it's welcome.

bye.
