I always check this website to check specifications and comparison: http://snapsort.com/compare/Ni.....Nikon-D750

Both of them are great cameras. D750 wins by having a flip-out screen (sometimes useful, but not necessity), longer battery (I would have a few batteries anyway), Better maximum light sensitivity 12,800 ISO (You'll rurally use it. D610 has slightly lower noise at high ISO them my D800 - which performs great to me), More focus points (might be useful, but not necessity. You can always focus and recompose), higher resolution screen is nice to have, but again not a big deal.

Conclusion: Both are great cameras. If you have money to spend, go with D750 with some extras. But a lot of them a not necessity. It might be a better idea to get some good lenses instead or other accessories you might need.

You might Google "Nikon D610 vs. D750". The D750 has better auto focus (same as the D810), but is a lot more expensive.

I have the D600 (upgraded to the 610 :-))... I love it... I'm not sure all the enhancements of the 750 over the 610... I think the 750 gives GPS data so that is helpful if you travel a lot. Good news is that I don't think you can go wrong with either one...

I think I'm down to the D610 or the D750

I'm trying to figure out if the D750 is worth the extra $

I tossing around buying used, not from a dealer, to save a lot? or Buy from a Dealer with a warranty?

Thanks in advance! : D
