Then I got the sensor cleaned (about $80 bucks) and the spots slowly came
back again.
I have the D7100 now and there is one large spot on images with this one too.
Think it's about time to contact Nikon to see if they're going to fix these problems
one day.
Doesn't seem to be any sensor or shutter issues with Canon or any other leading brands.

Dale... Most Nikon camera's have a sensor self-cleaning function which is accessed through the Setup Menu.
I tried it with mine, just now and it wasn't perfect, but worked to a degree.  Cleaning is discussed on pages
313 through 317 of the D7100 User Manual.

I think dust spots happen with most DSLRs due to the nature of the beast.
The problem with the D600 was oil and that's a whole other matter.

I did have some dust spots but just used a sensor cleaner to remove... was no big deal, but I'll send mine back just to cover against any future issue.
