And the woman you spoke about.....have you felt anything spooky near that house?

Dale... Lens distortions are very easily fixed in Lightroom, (especially 5) so no need for Ps there.

And... I am very happy that the large orbs problem has been solved.
I've actually always been rather fond of large orbs.

Well, using a wide angle lens and not correcting for the
distortion in Ps always causes things to be in and out of
alignment. Another good reason for me to get Ps figured
out. A good winter project for sure! They say that a mysterious
woman can sometimes be seen staring from an upstairs window
when the night is very dark. Probably just a cleaning woman working
the night shift and wasting time!
The shooting star was a real surprise and I doubt I'll ever get another
one on a night shot. As far as the odds? Slim to none would be my
best guess so I feel pretty lucky.
I'm almost positive that those spots appearing during long exposures
are, as you said, lens flare. I did some reading and others have experienced
similar problems.

Gentlemen….

I would NOT have said ONE word about it being crooked! I had hardly even noticed it.

Anyway… It is definitely a spooky place.
I've heard that the children who visit for treats are often never seen again
and it is their screams that are heard when the wind blows.

Great shot, Dale… and catching the shooting star was a stoke of luck.
I wonder at the odds.

OK - I straightened out the image and re-posted it above
the original leaning spook house!
Not easy to concentrate on a perfectly aligned and straight
scene when you know that at any moment you could be
attacked by one or more violent entities!!!
Just wanted to get the shot and get the hell out of there lol.

Do you believe in ghosts?
People who work here do and many have claimed to have
had experiences that lead them to believe they are in the
presence of spirits.
While taking pictures I didn't see any but I did get lucky and
captured a shooting star. Didn't know it was there until I saw
it on my computer screen.
