Great photo Ergig! I must agree with everybody else - nice colors and composition. I like the gradation on the foreground - How it goes from darker to lighter and leading us into the picture. Well done!

Thanks Mandrake and mscharff.. That light is coming from Grouse Mountain, a ski resort in North Shore.

I'm guessing it's from lights atop tall buildings which are mostly hidden by the clouds.
(I'm a bit surprised at the starbursts with f/8. I had thought you would need a smaller aperture for that.)

Very nice shot, Erwin. Love the muted colors and the bit of brightness in the sky.
I'm glad you didn't crop the foreground. The space adds great depth to the image.

Great image argig.
Nice to see somebody else who really likes taking pics at night and this one turned
out spectacular!
I live in Victoria and have been to Vancouver too many times to count lol!
The colours and clarity are really impressive and you've managed to get all the
highlights under control with no blown whites - congratulations on that.
Hope to see some more of the same in future posts. You live in a great city (although
it's too damned big and spread out for me lol - so I'll just remain on the Island and take
pictures of quaint little Victoria for now.
