Eric... I really do like the last photograph in the group.
Truly a Currier and Ives Christmas card scene.

My only suggestion would be to level the horizon snow line
so that it is perfectly horizontal.

Lovely image.

Thanks, the horizon is something i often forget.. i'll fix it with lightroom.

save it, right click on the saved image and choose properties - details.
This will probably give you all you might wish to know and, frankly, saves a lot of trouble for the poster.

Thanks for the info on camera.
Looks like a very nice area you live in not far from Montreal. I live on the other side of Canada.
West coast Victoria, British Columbia so we're from the same country but a long long way apart lol!
Good advice given by Silky on taking pictures of and in the snow. I always expose for the brightest
part of the image as that is the area most likely to be blown out if not exposed correctly.
Keep posting the great pics from your area.
Not bad considering you forgot about the ISO setting.
We all do that sometimes and it comes back to haunt us
when we check the results on the computer!
Where were these pics taken?
Can you let us know what settings outside of ISO 400
Camera type, shutter speed, f-stop etc.
It's always interesting to see what settings produced the posted images.
I made my own tip, forgot my camera at fixed iso 400, so i wasn't pleased when i came back home.. guess it's a beginner's mistake.
