I painted over 100 of them and also many graphite drawing the last 5 years. I was always very very frustrated when doing them. I worried myself to death over them and never had any sleep...3 hours a week i remember. I stopped about 4 months ago and i feel SO much better now without any obligations to paint.

I spent about 30-50 hours on each and every one of them. MOst of the time having it as goood as it'll get, then spending another 30 hours making them worse and worse. I couldn't let go. So....i have one hanging in my living room and it disturbs me! when i catch myself glancing in that direction. It's very strange, i don't know what'll become of them since i don't want to see them..

I doctored up the vase in photoshop (the design). Those are eggs. It was alot of work, but i personally don't think it's a great photo anymore. I can see, thru learning and experience now, that it has some things that just don't work for it. I did actually do two oil painting of it.Vase-and-Eggs.jpg
