Your knowledge is phenomenal.
I had no idea that so many terms were used to describe
a "group" of ducks!
My favourite group of ducks hang in the front window of a
Chinese market cooked perfectly and ready to be enjoyed.
What is the term for that "group"?
By the way I will be signing off and going on an underwater (Salish Sea)
adventure to see what images I can post later. Of course I will be protected
by a thick layers of glass during my "dive".
Dale.

One of your favorite subjects, ducks, actually have different group names depending on their location.

When flying, the group is a flock,
on the ground, a brace or a badling,
and when in the water, a raft or a team.

There will be a quiz.

A "ghost" of gnats is a bunch of gnats as a "herd" of cattle is a bunch of cattle.
and........ it's a lovely little poem, thank you very much, Dale.

Bet you didn't know that Mandrake's also a poet!
How good of a poet...well, you can be the judge on that!
Dale.
Today I will go out and see if I can find some very small flying
insects to shoot and try and get in focus.
