I think the picture has a good sense of humor. Looks like the bird is marching. lol <img class="spSmiley" style="margin:0" src="http://easy-exposure.com/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-smileys/sf-laugh.gif" width="15" alt="Laugh" /><br />
Now for the technical.<br />
The subject in this case the bird. It's in the center of the frame. The good thing is that, since there is no other distracting thing in the picture it sort of works because your eyes get drawn to it. Try using the "rule of thirds" to enhance your composition. You can do this on post production by simply cropping  the image and accomplishing two things having the bird on one of the crossing lines and zooming the image at the same time.   Also, the strip of asphalt would have been a good opportunity  to use it as "leading lines" leading towards the bird. I think you might have been in a hurry to take the shot before the bird would fly away. Taking pictures of birds are difficult because they are gone in seconds.<br />
Also notice that the corner of the image are a bit dark. Did you do this? some sort special effect (vignette) during post production? </p>
