I use photoshop and resize to 960 pixels lengthwise and it suggests to use png. Here's a much improved photo of the 3 birds. One from Jamaica I took in the 1980's with film (as you can tell).

Do you know the camera settings?  A great capture with, what I suspect, was less than abundant light.

LOL, Mandrake! That is funny! Even birds are lazy these day. I like the last one as well. That bird has a character. It is all in his pose.
