These photos were captured with my Fujifilm FinePix XP10 on full auto. Taken on 7-8-11
I saw a girl kicking at it, and I came up saw what it was and asked her "What are you doing? she replied "I'm trying to get it to jump. I looked at her and said "The only thing you are doing is getting it angry" (more colorful language was used) I went got only camera I had with me and snapped a few shots of it. By this time he wasn't a happy camper! lol

Where I live and work, you could meet much, much worse than this. And I have!
Tarantula's are in fact very docile, and only will bite when provoked.
I have another photo of a Tarantula that I took quite some time ago that had been messed with,
and was in a defensive posture. I'll see if I can find it. Very scary stuff.
