        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks for sharing, Jane. You are right. Flowers are beautiful subject to practice with. This is the thing with close up photography. The closer you get to the subject, the narrower your DoF will be. I think it works on #1 and #2. On #3, there would be great to have a bit more in focus. </p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Beautiful, especially the second one.  Yes, a higher F-stop would increase the depth of field which would be good, although maybe you were going for the small focus area.  In the second picture in particular I think the narrow depth of field works--the center is sharp and then each progressive set of petals is slightly less in focus.  It gives it a very 3-D look.  For the third one I don't see that because of the angle so there maybe a smaller aperture would help.  Depending on your equipment and the size of the flowers, you might have to do focus stacking or something like that to get everything in focus. </p>
