No please, don't! I remember my first camera. It was a b&w and to use flash you had to buy a box which contained 3 cubes with each 4 sides. Every side could fire one flash, so after 4 flashes you could throw it away. And then all that waiting for pictures to be revealed... And finally you would go to the store where the owner would show you the results of all your effort. Man, I can still feel the pain and disappointment after seeing all the burned ones...

But all the things I write just confirm your admiration for those pioneers who didn't have all the great tools we have these days and still made time stand still in amazing ways...

Actually I didn't know Ansel Adams, so I've just googled it and you're right... what an incredible artist!

WOW! That a cat. Look at those eye. Also in Lightroom you can control saturation of separate colors. For example if you just want to saturate blue you can without touching anything else.

Yes I know Oksana, it's a brilliant piece of software. I found out there is even a way to use the mouse, put it on one colour in the image and slide it upwards or downwards. Amazing!

Thanks Michael, it was not easy, because the cat still was very nervous and moving a lot. This picture turned out one of the last before it took off, so I had to speed up my shuttertime a bit to get it sharp. But after taking off it came back and today even walked into our house

Pretty incredible eye colour on that cat. We once had a purebred Himalayan long haired cat
that had intensely blue eyes that everybody commented on.
