little 18-55 kit lens is a killer when it comes to clarity!<br />
Mandrake is right - try Lr on a trial basis. It's easy to get used to and<br />
really can enhance even good photos to make them even better.<br />

I prefer Lightroom for overall image corrections.<br />
Have you tried Lr?  A 30 day trial of Lr5 is well worth the effort.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>Love the first... Great clarity with the bird.  Do you know it's species?<br />
Nice composition on this one as well.</p>
<p>The second photo might be cropped to remove unnecessary foliage on the left and bottom.<br />
This would put your bird at a perfect rule of thirds point in the image and make it larger in the photo.<br />
I like the lilght in this one.  I'm thinking morning.</p>
