as you mentioned, may be a little better focus could have a great shot. however... a nice photo, specially the wings action on its flight is the major attraction.

Thanks for the comments - I wish I could have got the
whole bird in the shot (and a little better focus) but the
damned thing took off as I was approaching and it was
lift the camera, shoot quick, and hope for the best lol!
