I would say this is an absolutely amazing macro shot. The focus is really good and the color is amazing too. The wings are stationary that means it is very wonderfully taken with time. The framing is good as well. Well done, really impressed with the quality. Were the wings moving during the shot?. If they were then you are an amazing photographer. I once tried to take some photos of moving bees and the wings did not get focused.

What camera and lens did you use to take did photos?. I think you have zoomed the photo and that is why the focus is being lost. You you want to take macro photos then you have to manually focus the photo. In each photo the wings are not stationary at all. Macro shots are all about focus. If you try to take a macro shot of a moving object then you have to be very careful about the focus.

That was my thought too. I was using auto focus. I may have just not had a steady hand when I snapped the shots.

I totally agree with you, the focus is not very good but I would say the framing is wonderful.

As the photo is taken in the macro mode then it would have been better with the focus. Did you use auto focus?, or manually clicked and adjusted the photo?. Overall the outlook is nice.

I love monochromatic images, where the background is the same color as a subject because then it really becomes about shapes and textures. I also like the pop of white in the water drops, which ads more contrast. Beautiful image. Was everything really this color or you changed it in post?

Thank you oksana for the comment, it was a colour image and it has changed while post processing, add little sharpness for water drops.
