Lol Mandrake! That kid was giving us a really hard time. She fell asleep maybe like for 5-10 minutes 2 times out of whole time. We were trying to put her to sleep for several hours and she just wanted to hang out with us, lol

This is always a first time for something. This was my first time photographing a newborn (20 days old).

Window light.

Nikon D610. 50mm lens

Image 1: ISO320, 1/100, f3.2

Image 2: ISO1250 1/80 f2.8 (I was loosing natural light, so I had to use higher ISO). Flash would not have been an option, because we nearly could put that kid to sleep and she would wake up from everything. Luckily Nikon D610 can handle high ISO pretty well + noice reduction in Lightroom.

If any of you photograph newborns, please share.
