I bought a few Pocket Wizards(radio transceivers) for my flash units, but sold one back because it's too much thinking! So, i have kept two (so far) and have my real chance use my knowledge at the picnic. They are manual which really makes things uncertain. Guesstimating exposures.

People don't want to wait more than 5 seconds for someone to take a photo. These things take time. I did try some with rim light, but i realize now that outdoors it's not going to show up well because the ambient light is a close match to the rim from the flash. Now i know.

Most future events will be taken indoors, so the rim will show up better with the contrasting background (darker). But using flash really makes thing pop out because of the different lightings..ambient mixed with the flash light.
