<p>Shutter speed rule of thumb says: to avoid blurry photos use: shutter speed = 1/Focal length</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>The above rule is only for full frame cameras 35 mm, so if you have a camera with a crop factor the above rule will be:</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Shutter speed = 1/ (focal length X crop factor)</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>As example my camera has 1.5 X crop factor, so for 200 mm focal length my shutter speed should be:</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Shutter speed = 1/ (200 X 1.5) = 1/ 300</p>
