Why there are no kangaroos on Kangaroo Island? I only see pelicans here. The picture with pelicans is my favorite by the way. It tells the story. Good composition:use of rule of third, leading lines and also it has nice depth to it. Also interesting combination of colors. The person in its bright green and red outfit really stand out and draws attention. Beautiful color of the water and details in the sky.

On the first image there are too many distracting things, like poll, tree, cut of bench. As a viewer you don't really know where to look, because there is no focal point.

Oksana; you don't see the Kangaroos, because Australia is exporting it in Cans, let see if still the cans in the recicle box , I like the sabor luck like rabit stofado. I imagen that with one Kangaroo the made thousand of cans.

Hi All,

The attached Picture is as is and has not been altered in any way. I was attempting to show the Fountains spray and mist as you would see it with the naked eye, this is the closest I could get to achieving this. I made sure that the background etc was not too cluttered with excessive color to achieve this. I only had my 50mm f1.8D lens with me today and the fountain was a slight distance from the bank. That mist carried for about 100metres and was soaking people on the bank, LOL. Please note the plane at the top, I didn't see this when photographing the fountain.

Details as follows.
Nikon D7000 50mm F1.8D
1/200th
f7.1
ISO 100

took me quite a few tries to get this picture....

Personally, photo no 2 is 'too busy' for me, I therefore do not like the composition. its difficult to get the message, not knowing what to focus one's attention on. I particularly admire the way you utilized the right shutter speed in capturing the movement in photo no 3. Thanks.
