Why there are no kangaroos on Kangaroo Island? I only see pelicans here. The picture with pelicans is my favorite by the way. It tells the story. Good composition:use of rule of third, leading lines and also it has nice depth to it. Also interesting combination of colors. The person in its bright green and red outfit really stand out and draws attention. Beautiful color of the water and details in the sky.

On the first image there are too many distracting things, like poll, tree, cut of bench. As a viewer you don't really know where to look, because there is no focal point.

Oksana; you don't see the Kangaroos, because Australia is exporting it in Cans, let see if still the cans in the recicle box , I like the sabor luck like rabit stofado. I imagen that with one Kangaroo the made thousand of cans.

A-Fan-4eva, the third picture is ok. It is just not as interesting as the second one. It is just more casual, like anybody could have took it. The second shot is more memorable and unique. You really captured the moment there.

Oksana.... You mention how you were drawn to the person in the bright green and red outfit. Did you not notice that there appears to be a bird standing on his head? It may be that the bird is standing on a post behind the man. I can not say for sure.

Thank You Oksana,

Yes the one o the Pelicans is my favourite also, and thankyou for the nice critique on it. The only work I did on the Photo was to crop it slightly, otherwise it was as is, straight out of the camera. Pics like that make me realize the potential of my Camera and the lenses I own. Encourages me to do more. I will say I have watched all your lessons (3 times so far lol) and learn something new each time. You are right about the first pic of the street, I made the amateur sin of forgetting others who see the street won't be able to know it if they had not visited there before.

May I ask what you thoght of the 3rd one please? I loved it for the brilliant brown and Sunny day, I am drawn straight to the hotel and then I look around. I left it bright as it seemed to want to be that way, to me anyway.

Thankyou again

Happy Snapping ppls

Ian ....
