Hey all I am new to DSLR and i have the nikon D3200 with 2 lens one is the 18-55 and other is 55-300.

I have been watching your videos on you tube and i really am a beginer on DSLR, I got this camera cos im going to NYC for the 1st time in December which will be a magical moment for my family.

What i dont want to do is go there with my D3200 and snap away with out getting the best experience of memorabilia cos that is what they are, Can someone point a really newbie to DSLR and who is Dyslexic and help teach me to get what i can out of my DSLR..

Thanks

spudevo…

Watch Oksana’s videos.  They will certainly teach you what you need to know for an enjoyable, photographic visit to New York.
Yes… it is truly a remarkable city.  I have lived here for more than 72 years and there is still much that I have not discovered.

Good luck with your new Nikon.  It should serve you well and we look forward to sharing your adventures.

Well, If the video that you have watched featured a “He”, then it was not Oksana.

Here is the link to her YouTube channel.  Start with Lesson #1. Take your time and you will be fine.

I have been watching hers today, Im yet to say what she is on about to yet try i got up to 6 lesson.. its late here.. i am going to watch more… but today i took pics i had it set on A mode and it kept saying was to bright no matter what F setting i put it on they where all to bright… i had to put it into Auto mode to get a nice pic..

which im sad about, i just hope i can learn before i go to NYC and take snaps of of what i see others do, of like the light in speed mode and yet the road or roundabout is still in focus..

Sorry im dyslectics so i try as much as i can to lean… :(
